In no particular order, here are over one hundred tips and recommendations to help you with your business blog and blogging habits. These have been assembled from a variety of sources and may not represent anything new, but rather a great compilation for both new and experienced bloggers.

  1. If you aren’t yet, start blogging today!
  2. Blog about topics that you love.
  3. Buy your own domain name.
  4. Make sure that your domain name is the same as your blog name.
  5. Use a short and easy to remember name.
  6. Blog regularly.
  7. Ideally, write at least five posts a week.
  8. Always proofread for both spelling and grammar.
  9. Proofread again.
  10. Interact with other bloggers.
  11. Leave meaningful comments.
